The collaboration of the Karnataka College of Percussion with Charlie Mariano and Mike Herting dates back to the year 1983. Since then the musicians shared a long relationship documented in a vast number of concerts and recordings. "Many Ways" has been recorded a year ago in Bangalore, India - and you can feel the spirit of the atmosphere you can only find in this part of the world. This is not one of the numerous "East meets West"-projects, that are often just a short flash of spontanous meetings, but is the result of more than 20 years of shared experience and deep understanding between all 5 musicians.
